Powerstripe Eco-Friendly Down Hooded Vest

First things first, this jacket is fairly priced. But do not expect too much from it given its quality is okay. It looks really good in vine color and is comfortable at the same time. This jacket is very lightweight which makes it travel friendly and perfect for those weekend getaways. It can be easily stashed in a bag in case there are chances of weather getting unpredictable. It also has full zipper which in combination with a hood keeps you warm and snug during pre-winters without feeling too heavy. Its versatile and can be paired up with jeans and boots or can be used casually with leggings and sneakers as well. Overall a decent puffer vest for ocassioanl use.

I love the hood feature of this puffer vest. I run very cold, and hoods are not all made the right way! I have jacket hoods that blow right off, or are too small and cover practically nothing. This has an elastic that holds the hood in place. It covers the head, just leaving the face. Just be careful when you unzip the hood. Overlapping fabric, which acts to cover the zip, got caught in the zipper while I was trying to unzip the hood from the vest. It took me awhile to undo this.Another feature is the elastic around the arm hole (picture 1). While this is a smart move, as the elastic stops cold air from entering through the arm opening, it ends up pulling on the front, upper section, of the vest (picture 2). It sort of scrunches the fabric a bit.The small fits a 5'3" frame - 117lbs - perfectly, and falls at the hips. It is made decently, and I believe will keep me warm as a top layer, in my home, on those cold, North Eastern US days.

This is a cute, casual vest. I love the color and the vest's light weight, as it won't make me boiling hot if I wear a shirt underneath. I also like the light weight so if I want to take it off while I'm out, I won't be lugging around a large garment. It seems it could roll-up to a relatively small size and fit in a large purse, or backpack for sure, if needed. The hood is also removable. My only issue was the torso length, as I am 6'0ft tall. Nonetheless, I'll be keeping.

Great for travel or everyday. Not too thick. Packs nice and tight.

I was disappointed , it was very thin , in the photo looks much puffier than its actual product. Also the way it’s packaged , it comes out very very wrinkled . Due to the lack of filling inside of puffer , I don’t think it is warm at all. It runs smaller then expected , I ordered size Small but it slim fit, especially in chest area and around arms. Color black looks true to the photo.

I absolutely love mine and I bought another one recently. The first one was a large and it is a little big so the second one is a medium and it is perfect!

It was flattering and warm!! Great addition to your wardrobe. I wear a size 36D bra and need a size L. Lightweight and comes with a TINY pouch. I have not tried to squeeze that in yet.

This is a great vest for the price. I was specifically looking for one with a hood. I do a lot of outdoor activities with my dog and this has been great so far. I think the hood will provide some warmth and protection from the elements. I doubt it will be sufficient for really cold weather but it's perfect to use as a layering piece. The fit is true to size (I'm an XL) and not too baggy or boxy. I haven't washed it yet but it looks well made and I expect that it will hold up when laundered.

I haven't tested this out with cold weather but I think it will be warm enough. Not super warm like my down vest but good for b=cool days. I did wash it- it washed and dried well (things can't be at my house if they can't wash/dry without issues. No hand washing going on here). The fit is snug as I expected. I am thin and I liked the fit. It would not go over a thick sweater very well but I didn't get it for that. The zipper seems sturdy so all on all- a good buy. For some reason I wanted it for the tight little very snug hood. I guess I can dodge the wind just fine when it's chilly.

This is a thin, slim fitting puffer vest. I was expecting it to be a little thicker but it's plenty warm despite it's light weight. The navy color makes it a go-to for everyday wear in the fall. The removable hood is a nice feature but it got stuck a couple of times when I was removing it. It catches on the fabric that conceals the zipper but it was easy to get off once I pushed it out of the way. I like that it covers the neck when fully zipped. I like the deep inner pockets. This is a solid choice.
